Hire Agreement
1. The equipment
This agreement covers the light-up number(s) and/or letter(s) hired ("the Equipment") for the event date confirmed at booking.
2. Hire period
The hire period is 1–2 days, with exact timings agreed with you based on your event. The Equipment remains the property of Made for Occasions at all times.
3. Collection and delivery
The customer will either collect and return the Equipment themselves, or Made for Occasions will deliver, position and check the Equipment ahead of the event and collect it afterwards — as agreed at booking. Delivery pricing, where applicable, is confirmed individually with you once you enquire.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Providing safe, reasonable access for delivery, setup and collection where these are being carried out by us.
- Ensuring the Equipment is not moved or altered once positioned, and is used in a safe, suitable location for the event.
- Providing access to a standard mains socket, as the Equipment is fitted with bulbs and requires a normal household power supply.
5. Loss or damage
The customer is responsible for the Equipment during the hire period and agrees to return it in the same condition it was supplied, fair wear and tear excepted. Any loss, damage or missing items will be charged to the customer at replacement or repair cost, as confirmed by us.
6. Cancellation
If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any amounts that are non-refundable, will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.
7. Booking payment
A booking payment is required to secure your date. The amount and how it is taken will be confirmed with you when we respond to your enquiry.
8. Agreement
By confirming a booking, the customer agrees to the terms of this Hire Agreement.
